Let's dive into the exciting part! During our session, we will explore and create a tailored look just for you. I'll provide expert guidance on what complements your face shape, hair length, and style. We can play around with different hairstyles and pins, and put your veil in (if you're having one).
There is no minimum spend to book with me, but there is a minimum amount of people required to book with me of 3 people. This does not include the trial.
Yes, travel fees will be charged at £1 per mile from a 10-mile radius of the ME9 postcode. If your trial/wedding is within London, the travel charges may be the train fares to and from the location.
I accept bookings for destination weddings, and arrangements for transportation, accommodation, transfers, and meals must be provided. Kindly include all necessary details in your enquiry for me to organise everything accordingly.
The bridal trial typically lasts 2-3 hours, depending on the selected services. It can be held at my home in Hartlip or another preferred location. Please ensure there is a suitable area with chairs (preferably tall stools), a large table, and power sockets available.
I would definitely suggest having a trial before your wedding day. It's important to try out your hair and makeup ideas to understand and perfect your look for the day. It's always great to have an idea of what you want, and sometimes the chosen look doesn't always suit you as well as you first thought it might. This is why at our trial we can try a number of looks to find your perfect match. It can take years to plan a wedding, so don't miss out on making yourself look and feel perfect.
Having visual references of styles and looks you admire is incredibly helpful. Feel free to share a few images that inspire you. I will carefully review your preferences and design a look tailored to complement your unique features, hairstyle, and length. Prior to our trial, I will provide you with some tips and tricks to prepare your hair for optimal results. Wash your hair the day before and let it dry naturally. Bring along any hairpins you may like and your veil (if you're having one). Top tip: if you have a top that matches the colour and neckline of your dress, it will give you the closest vision of your wedding day look.
I recommend scheduling our trial 1-6 months before the wedding day, but the choice is yours! Some brides prefer to plan well in advance, while others opt for a trial closer to the wedding for a fresher memory. I do my best to accommodate the preferred date, but please note that due to high demand for wedding dates, trials are only available on weekdays.
Absolutely! While exploring various style ideas is great, it's recommended to focus on two looks for simplicity. This approach will optimise our time together, preventing confusion from too many options. If you're having trouble deciding, I can assist in selecting the most flattering styles tailored to you. After finalising the looks, we can refine and adjust them to achieve your perfect look.
Having a trial for the bridal party members is not mandatory, but it can be beneficial if they are uncertain about their desired hair or makeup style. It presents a great opportunity to test out various ideas and create a personalised look for each individual. This trial also helps ease any anxiety for those who haven't had their hair and makeup done before, as there won't be time for experimentation on the wedding day. Additionally, it can be a delightful experience to share with your bridal party. It's common for brides, their mothers, or maids of honour to have their trials together and then enjoy a night out on the town afterward!
On your wedding day, everything will be well-organised to ensure a smooth experience, allowing you to sit back, unwind, and savour the morning! A detailed schedule will be provided in advance, so you'll have a clear idea of the day's events and timings. Your hair and makeup, perfected during your trial, will give you peace of mind that everything is proceeding smoothly. Additional time is always allocated for touch-ups, last-minute arrangements, and capturing pictures before you depart for your ceremony.
I am available for booking for the remainder of your day to provide touch-ups for you and your bridal party as well as assist with your wedding photos. If you are interested in this extra service, kindly inform me during your enquiry, and I will include it in your quote.
If you need an extra appearance for you and your bridal party on your wedding day, this can be arranged at an additional cost based on the required service and the time gap between each service.
